Objective: Good Spirits Fine Wine & Liquor, located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, sought to build a website that could effectively showcase new products, events, and general information, while also offering newsletters and other updates. The primary goal was to create a site that the client could easily edit and update regularly without needing external assistance.
Approach: The design approach was to replicate the site’s existing theme, as the client was satisfied with their previous platform’s aesthetic. However, I made modern updates and changes to enhance usability and ensure that the site could be easily edited and updated. This involved streamlining the design for easier management while maintaining the look and feel that the client loved.
Design Elements: The design theme was kept elegant and high-end, reflecting the upscale nature of Good Spirits' offerings. The website conveyed the quality of the beverages and the expert knowledge available at their location, reinforcing the brand's reputation. The updates included subtle modern touches that made the site more user-friendly while preserving its sophisticated aesthetic.
User Experience (UX): The user experience was designed to be straightforward, with a mobile-friendly version that ensured excellent functionality for both end users and the client. The site allowed the client to quickly make updates and push out information, such as product launches and event details, efficiently.
