NeighborGOOD Events

Objective: neighborGOOD Events, based in Scottsdale, AZ, needed a website that would unite diverse communities through events while showcasing the services they provide and the entertainment acts they hire to bring these events to life. The site aimed to be a hub that would not only promote their services but also serve as a welcoming platform for community engagement.

Approach: Inspired by the vibrant sunsets and sunrises of Arizona, I designed the website with warm, inviting colors that reflected the spirit of community and connection. The goal was to create a site that felt like a community staple, fostering a sense of warmth and inclusivity that would appeal to a wide range of users.

Design Elements: The standout features of the website include the dynamic homepage and service pages. The homepage was designed for extremely easy navigation, ensuring that users of all ages, particularly older users, could access the site effortlessly. The dynamic pages were created to highlight the various services offered, allowing the client to easily add and remove content as needed, maintaining flexibility and freshness.

User Experience (UX): The user experience was prioritized to ensure that the site was intuitive and accessible. Dynamic pages were used to create a strong foundation for both design and functionality, enabling the client to manage content seamlessly on their own. The overall design focused on ease of use, ensuring that visitors could quickly find the information they needed.

Technical Details: The website was built on Wix, chosen for its versatility and ability to support future growth. The platform was set up to eventually take payments or donations and to host a wide variety of content, including image and video galleries, which are essential for showcasing the company’s services and entertainment offerings.

Results & Impact: neighborGOOD Events has seen fantastic traffic data, with the website helping to drive approximately $14k/month in business. The site has proven to be a crucial catalyst in the company’s efforts to connect with the community and promote their services effectively.

Collaboration & Feedback: The success of this project has led neighborGOOD Events to repeatedly rely on my team and me for multiple jobs over the years. We remain their first call for web design work, a testament to the strong partnership and the effectiveness of the solutions we provide.
