The objective is simple:
Transfer existing website to a more user friendly platform where edits can be made regularly and consistently.
Regular website changes are necessary to stay relevant not only within your business but within the vast internet where there are millions of websites as well. We want to make sure that you can make the changes you want to keep your patients up to date, your business information clear and consistent so Google and other search engines will see you as a thought leader in your industry.
Your New Website
Having re-designed websites in many different industries, we know what is needed and what can be left out. There are several components to your site which would benefit you greatly.
Some we have talked about in our initial meeting. Others we will develop with your new website design platform.
Content for the Site
This will be an overall "birdseye view" of what you offer. Much like a roadmap through important items of your site.
NEW PATIENT CENTER
This will be exactly as it is on your current site to allow exhisting patients ease of use throughout this transition and as we said before, if it's not broke, don't fix it!
We will keep this consistent with your current site as well. This will showcase you and your staff. However, it will be easy to update if anyone leaves or joins the team at any moment.
We want you to be able to update and change your services if you ever decide to offer a new service so we will design this in a way that allows you or a member of your team to edit this with ease. We may also add a litte design flair to give it some eye catching appeal.
GLASSES & CONTACTS
We will keep this page consistent with your current site but we will show you how you can add a store if you ever decide you would like to use the online platform for sales.
We are going to add a few design changes and potentially add some of these to the homepage as well to gain that social proof right out the gate.
This page we are looking for a solution for you as of now, this was a feature provided by your last website platform as a "marketing tool" While it's great in theory, if hundreds or even thousands of Optical businesses are using it and posting the same articles, it could be a negative against your searchability. This may be something that myself and my team could help with long term as a part of a future marketing plan!
REST EASY, all of our website designs are 'Responsive' Computer, Tablet or Mobile - it will look fantastic!
Processes & Timescales
Step 1 Design interview
We need to get to the bottom of who you are, what you stand for and who you stand beside.
Only then can we begin to create a design that portrays the value you offer in a way that resonates with the people who matter: the people you want to do business with. *WE ALREADY KNOW WHAT YOUR GOALS ARE HERE, TRANSFER YOUR WEBSITE DESIGN OVER TO A NEW PLATFORM. YOU CAN DISREGARD THIS STEP
Step 2 Design presentation
Three new design concepts will be designed. Naturally there will be a common theme but we try to think outside the box and come up with something that isn't obvious. This is often where the best ideas come from.
We'll go through these options and decide which direction to take and any adjustments. *SINCE WE WILL BE JUST MAKING SURE THAT YOUR DATA IS TRANSFERRED AS YOUR CURRENT SITE IS, YOU CAN DISREGARD THIS SECTION
Step 3 Website content
Now we have your design locked-in, we can begin to construct the website. Our copywriter will be in touch with you to help put your ideas down through the "voice" of your new brand. DISREGARD
Any photos will need to be gathered at this stage via Google Drive. We will reach out to you more about this as we get close to start date.
Step 4 Website build
Using everything we've gathered, your website is built. Once it's done, we'll present it to you and go through the details in accordance with the objectives originally set.
Any amends are made at this stage.
Step 5 Launch
The launch process is a carefully considered one. We need to ensure email addresses don't go down, the site doesn't have any downtime, any old links are re-directed to the new pages and several other things.
This is something we've done hundreds of times before.
We operate to a checklist which we've curated over the years and it's not failed us once.
We always launch late on a Friday night to give us the best chance of getting any issues ironed out.
You can sleep easy knowing we'll be on-call over your launch weekend to ensure everything goes according to plan.
In total, it will take us between weeks to get your website live.
